Luke O’Neill – Physiotherapist

Luke O’Neill completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame. While completing his degree, he trained in various techniques to refine his physiotherapy. He spent time in the USA to develop his diagnostic, injury treatment and rehabilitation skills. He started work with Tim Edwards before graduating in 2019. That training helped him hone his soft tissue technique skills.

Previously, Luke worked both manual and desk roles in the construction and agricultural sectors. He also worked as a sports trainer in various sports. Most recently, with hockey, football, netball, gymnastics and gridiron. Luke enjoys keeping active with boxing and gym work. He brings his personal experience into his treatment technique. This allows him to understand the weekend sportsperson and the loads placed on the body from the daily grind.

Dr. Tamara Lawrance – Chiropractor

Dr. Tamara Lawrance graduated from Murdoch University with a double degree in Chiropractic Science and Clinical Chiropractic. She has been a part of the Spine and Sport team since 2018, working as a therapy assistant while studying. This allowed Tamara to witness and learn from countless patient visits prior to graduating, which has enhanced her diagnostic and treatment skills.

Being involved in dance and gymnastics from a young age, Tamara has sustained many of her own injuries over the years. This experience has provided her with a greater insight on the importance of strength, conditioning, and flexibility. Tamara’s strong interest in pain and injury management led her to learn additional manual therapy techniques. These include soft tissue therapy modalities, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, and dry needling to provide patients with the best treatment available, catered to each individual.

She plans to further her treatment knowledge through pilates practices and plans to visit the US to complete additional training when possible. Tamara’s passion for patient care extends further than helping them feel better when they leave an appointment. She encourages and helps her patients to understand what is going on with their body and be able to make changes to get better and achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Tamara lives an active lifestyle, both socially and physically. She also loves to cook and go on long walks with her dog, Lola.
