Neck Extension Exercise

Neck extension exercise. This exercise strengthens the muscles that pull the head back over the shoulders. It also stretches the scalene and suboccipital muscles.

To do this exercise, lock your fingers and place your hands behind your head. Then, push your head into your hands and your hands into your head firmly, not allowing your head or your hands to move. Hold for between 10 and 30 seconds, depending on your neck strength.
